I am co-founder and past President of Cheddar’s Casual Café, Inc. Dave Landis works for Cheddar’s as a consultant and owner’s representative for managing the development and construction of new restaurants. He joined Cheddar’s almost a year ago as the company was starting to ramp up development and in need of experience in building multiple restaurants at the same time. Cheddar’s had never built more than two to three restaurants per year, and his experience in helping us transition to  managing the new process has been invaluable.

Dave is a true professional and has always represented himself with Cheddar’s best interest in mind. He is respectful, hard working and continues to go above and beyond the call of duty. Dave has never backed down from a challenge. He has taken on jobs that without him, Cheddar’s would have struggled to complete, much less being close to within budget.

Dave has been trusted and accepted in our small and close knit organization as though he has been here since inception. He approaches his job objectively and always with a positive attitude. His ability to influence our construction department has been positive and extremely well received.

I would personally recommend Dave Landis for employment and do not hesitate to contact me for more references.

Douglas H. Rogers, Chief Executive Officer, Roaring Fork Restaurants, Inc.

I would highly recommend Dave for any construction management position.

He has been working with Brinker International for over 10 years in a Owner’s Representative capacity.  As a consultant to Brinker, Dave has been responsible for over 70 multiple brand restaurants during that time period.

He received accolades from the restaurant operators for his professionalism, thoroughness and attention to detail. No matter what the issue, Dave always found ways to deliver his projects on time and within budget. He took personal responsibility for his work and did what ever needed to be done to ensure a successful turnover and a satisfied customer. He truly felt and acted as if he was a Brinker employee and conducted himself as such.

My confidence in Dave’s ability and understanding of Brinker expectations are demonstrated by the fact  I selected him for assignments typically only given to Brinker Employees. For example, he mentored three new Brinker construction managers on our most complex brand. In addition, I brought him in on Projects with severe problems to assist and get those projects back on track.

Dave would be an asset to any organization and I would be happy to answer questions about him

Sincerely,

Jeff Smith, Brinker International, Vice President of Restaurant development

“…David’s experience is quite varied and his success is a simple matter of record.”

David M. Bush, President Adena Corporation - 1999 Associated Builders and Contractors National President

“I have worked closely with Dave Landis while completing a seventy-five bed Health Care Center in Toledo, Ohio.  As the project Manager for the $5 million building, Dave kept not only the flow of work and information essential to make the schedule, but also delivered the project within the guidelines of the contract documents.  His attitude and work ethic encouraged others around him to strive to do their best.  While change orders of any kind are often a cause for heated debate, Dave’s calming and trusting ways brought civility to this necessary duty of the development process.  As an owners representative, I would gladly work with Dave Landis on another equally difficult project should I ever have the opportunity.”

Thomas S. Canter, Director of Construction, Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services Development Corporation

"I appreciate your team’s assistance during the design phase with ideas and value engineering. In addition, your ability to adjust to changing conditions weekly was amazing. With all the problems with the project, I was shocked that you were able to bring in the project on time and under budget. You were particularly adept at adjusting the construction schedule..."

Bob Allison, V.P. Operations Dick's Last Resort

“Construction went smoothly, timely, and most importantly came in under budget.”    Rusty Loeffler, Partner TwoRows Restaurant

“Mr. Landis has demonstrated that he is capable of addressing jobs labor problems in an effective manner. Having an individual with this skill should prove to be advantageous to the Company in the future.”  Allan Ross Attorney; WICKENS  HERZER PANZA COOK & BATISTA CO.
